PERFORMING AT INTERNATIONAL GALLERY OF CONTEMPORARY ART

March 7th - Beginning @ 5:00PM

March 8th, 21st, & 22nd - Beginning @ 6:00PM

About the show

In a world where we are all connected, the exchanges and cooperation we have with one another through time are a critical piece of the human experience. “Reciprocity” is a monthlong performance and visual art installation at the International Gallery of Contemporary Art that brings together work from Emily Longbrake & Christine Sundly and Momentum Dance Collective. The work explores the relationships between time, memory, and the dualities that are constant in all phases of life.

The gallery is open regular hours for the community to come in and experience the art installations and video projection. There will be four opportunities to view live dance performances in an open house setting. On these select dates, the live performances will restart approximately every 45 minutes. We recommend for the full experience you plan to stay 45 minutes to see the full dance presentation and have the opportunity to view the artwork up close. You are also welcome to come and go as you please, stay five minutes or stay for two hours as the evening and artwork moves you. These performances are free with a suggested donation of $10-$20 to help support the work of working artists in our community.
