Arts & Dialogue: Identity, Poetry and Place as tools for difficult conversations

March features Tara Devlin, a poet and educator based in Anchorage, Alaska. Join us for an evening of art, poetry, and self-reflection. This interactive event invites audiences to explore identity and personal storytelling through creative expression.

The evening will begin with a curated photo gallery experience designed to spark thought and discussion about identity, heritage, and lived experiences. Poet and educator Tara Devlin will then share a live reading of original works exploring themes of self, place, and belonging and then guide you in a hands-on activity where you’ll explore your own social identity through discussion and reflection to create your own short personal poem (or visual response).

This event is a space for connection, creativity, and conversation. Whether you’re an artist, a writer, or simply curious, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

$15 in advance or at the door. Space limited

Kids under 10 free.
