Join the Anchorage Concert Association and 49 Writers for an intimate evening of storytelling and community! This event will feature a cast of local writers, all working within a common theme, who will share their written personal experiences live. Expect laughter, tears, and everything in between - we hope to see you there!

Featured writers: Patrick Carrico, Pam Cravez, Lauren Cusimano, Brian Hutton, Karleen Jackson, Terry S. Johnson, Cody Keim, and Greg Triggs

THEME: WINTER's DARK
Nick Jans wrote that, “Darkness is the soul of Arctic winters,” and we couldn’t agree more. Here in Alaska, darkness and winter are inescapable – and inseparable. The experience of winter’s dark is a fundamental part of living here. It unites us. It drives us crazy. It’s beautiful, it’s awful, it’s cold – and sometimes it’s all of those things at once. At this event, we’ll come in from the cold to hear local writers share their stories about winter’s dark.
