BARE was an evening length work of energetic and entertaining contemporary dance. With the changing political and economical landscape we found ourselves facing in 2016, and the absurd discourse that ensued, Momentum Dance Collective brought to the stage new choreography that explores the concept of who we are in this ever-changing world. The company delves into meaningful ways of bearing our true selves - the daily barrage of tasks, of stuff, of concerns or worries that we bear, as well as the humor we desperately need and, maybe most importantly, the connections we make with each other in order to (barely) get through it.
